Which of the following is not a way to represent the solution of the inequality 2(x + 1) greater than or equal to 20? A) x __>__ 9 B) 9_<__ x C) A number line with a closed circle on 9 and shading to the left. D ) A number line with a closed circle on 9 and shading to the right.
first solve then graph
@jennychan12 my answer is D am i correct
no actually it's c D is the CORRECT ANSWER the question asks for which isn't a way to represent this a and b are the same thing D is correct so it's c that would be x less than or equal to 9
@jennychan12 oh so if it was just asking what is the correct answer it would be D but since it is asking which isn't then thats what makes C? right
yep u got it :)
@jennychan12 great thanks could you help me with another one?
sure. but can u try it first? o.O
@jennychan12 Choose the missing step in the given solution to the inequality -2x - 14 > -4 + 3x. -2x - 14 > -4 + 3x -5x - 14 > -4 x < -2 A -5x < 10 B -5x > -28 C x < 2 D -5x > 10
what do you think it is?
@jennychan12 i say B
lemme check it's D. how'd u get B?
@jennychan12 at first i had A then i thought about D which seemed like a good choice however i thought it could be B so i was stuck on and B and D
can u show ur work? u don't have to mention me by the way. i'm here.
