How's it going out there? We probably have some folks left from the October 15 start, the Nov 26 group is at week 5, and we'll have another group starting Jan 7.
What exactly is MOOC, and what does it cover? Can you explain a little to those of us who have no idea?
hello fellow learners.
Is there a way to filter the comments by start group? I'm part of the Jan 7 flight and I'd like to concentrate on those questions / answers. Thanks!
@aj6n Not that we are aware of but that would be a great feature. We'll suggest it to the OpenStudy folks.
I'm part of the Jan 7 cohort. Can we use Python 2.7 for this course. The handout seems to call for 2.6. H
2.6 or 2.7 should be fine. The course exercises are written to 2.6 and Codecademy exercises to 2.7.
Thanks MOOC-E! Saves me doing a backwards install. And what do we do with the homework once it's finished? Do we post it somewhere or send it in to a checker of some kind?
@hduff Nope, no homework submission. It will be clear with most assignments if the code runs correctly or not, and Codecademy gives instant feedback. If you want someone to look over your code and provide suggestions, you can post it here.
any chance i could get an idea of how to start the queue exercise #3.6? getting a lot of errors.
