35. A salesman sold 20 cars in the month of July, and 40 cars the month of August. What is the percent increase in the number of cars the salesman sold?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

100%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20 + 20x = 40 x = 1 1 = 1.00 = 100%

OpenStudy (anonymous):

20-40 then take that total divide by 20. find the difference of the two months then divide by the SMALLER (20) bc it wants a percent INCREASE. if it said decrease u find difference and divide by bigger (40)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why does x =1

OpenStudy (anonymous):
