Help please
Im going to do this one question, you can post the other in other posts Solve the compound inequality 30 < 10u < 120. • 3 < u < 4 • 3 > u > 12 • 3 > u > 4 • 3 < u < 12 To solve: 30 < 10u < 120 First divide by 10, because thats the variable you are trying to isolate -------------- 10
^^@zaynahf is right for the 1st one ju divide both sides by 10 so it would be 30/10 and 120/10 then ju would put it in answer form 30/10<u<120/10 which is = to jur answer lol for the next one 9 + 3n ≥ 3 or 5n < 30. first for the 9 + 3n >= 3 ju would subtract the 9 on both sides first so it would be 3n >= -6 then ju would divide both sides by 3 to isolate the n all by itself. so it would be n >= -6/3 :P now for the 5n < 30 all ju would do is divide both sides by 5 to be n < 30/5 now that ive helped ju with 2 of them hopefully ju understand it and can try the other 2 by yourself :D hope this helped
and oh don forget when ju divide by a negative ju gotta flip the sign
ookieee
oh and for the last one dont forget to flip the sign because ju are dividing by a negative number! :P
