@MrDoe @hereweg0 @ZeHanz

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

you need the angle sum of a hexagon which can be found using \[Sum = (n - 2) \times 180\] where n = the number of sides. In your question n = 6 you need to add the angles next (x + 5) + (x + 5) + x +x + 135 + 135 so 4x + 280 = angle sum just solve for x

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

yea, campbell's got the approach i would use

OpenStudy (zehanz):

Looks like you've got help enough... ;)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you would sove x by dividing 4 into 280 right?

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

what did you get as the angle sum.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the angle sum was 720.... :p

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

ok so you have the equation 4x + 280 = 720 subtract 280 from both sides then divide by 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

4x=440 x=110

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

thats correct...

geeezz thank you!!! all you people need to become teachers you explain it wayyyy better!
