Add the following polynomials 3.2x^3+4.8x+3.7 2.1x^3+6.3x-2.9 ----------------

OpenStudy (zehanz):

You just have to add alike terms; as it is written, everything is already neatly formatted for this. So: how many x^3 's do you have, how many x etc.

OpenStudy (zehanz):

@sambam: do you copy?

OpenStudy (sambam):

Sorry still not sure how that will work.

OpenStudy (zehanz):

You have 3.2+2.1 times x^3, 4.8+6.3 times x and then 3.7+-2.9...

OpenStudy (zehanz):

This amounts to:\[(3.2+2.1)x^3+(4.8+6.3)x+3.7+-2.9=5.3x^3+11.1x+0.8\]

OpenStudy (sambam):

oh okay thanks so much.
