Is this the correct way to say this? Yo estudio en el casa
Yo estudio en mi casa. yo estudio en LA casa (de mi madre). casa has a feminine gender, then its LA CASA.
Wouldn't you more naturally say "Estudio en casa" (without any article for 'casa') to say in general, "I study at home"; but "estudio en mi casa" or "... en la casa de mi madre" if you are stressing the location? [For example, "Estudias en la casa de tu novio?" "No, estudio en mi casa." versus "¿Donde estudias?" "Estudio en casa."] I could be wrong!
I would definitely agree with that @galaxyglue!
"Yo estudio" that's good, to give more information of location, "Yo estudio en la biblioteca" or "Yo estudio en la escuela". By saying "Yo estudio en casa" it still sounds good and proper, but rather short and almost informal, curt, plain. You could almost add " ... en casa ajena" ( othere's people house). But you will be understood. By saying "Yo estudio en mi casa" there is no more discussion about location.
