How to solve this plz help

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 5 }{ \sqrt{10}}\]

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

multiply the whole thing by \[\frac{ \sqrt{10} }{ \sqrt{10} }\] to rationalize the denominator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 5\sqrt{10} }{ \sqrt{100} } \] like this

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

right so your denominator becomes 10

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

you could then simplify \[\frac{ 5\sqrt{10} }{ 10 }=\frac{ \sqrt{10} }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get how you got the two

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

divide the whole expression by 5, 5/5=1 so we dont write it, 10/5=2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh

OpenStudy (anonymous):
