OpenStudy (jennychan12):

@MrDoe sorry can u help?

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

the whole thing O_o?

OpenStudy (jennychan12):

no just #2 c

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

oh, nvm hang on

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

my approach to this would be to go ahead and combine them W(t)-R(t) and evaluate it as a single function, then do a curve sketch on that interval and use points of inflection to determine where the minimum is but you can do it more than one way

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

use the derivative tests and it will be messy but doable

OpenStudy (jennychan12):

oh ok. thanks.

OpenStudy (mrdoe):

yeah though i have to say i don't envy you that problem, looks like a pain, good luck!

OpenStudy (jennychan12):

haha thanks :)

OpenStudy (abb0t):

This is related rates. No integrals needed.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

oh wait, nvm haha. no1 mentioned n e thiing abt integrals here. ignore last cmnt.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Use first derivative and second derivative test, and plug in 0 and 18.
