i know order of operations is par thesis 1st... so it becomes
$$6\div 2(3)$$   but then isnt it multiplication 1st then division? or arent they on the same level? or does that parenthesis around the 3 make any change?.... ive heard stories now

when you have only multiplications and division, the order of evaluation is from left to right.
and a(b) is ecactly same as a*b.
