All the terms in the square root can be grouped together, so we have: 2 * 3 * d * sqrt(9 * d * 5) since 9 = 3 * 3, we can take it out of the sqrt: 2 * 3 * 3 * d * sqrt(5 * d) which is equal to: 18d * sqrt(5d) Sometimes, spreading apart the numbers and variables helps you to see the problem better!
