that lower part is supposed to be a hemisphere

OpenStudy (theviper):

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

whats the problem after you have the correct figure ? inner surface area = surface area of cylinder + that of hemisphere.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

The hemisphere has a radius of 7 cm, so that leaves the height of the cylinder as 13 cm - 7 cm = 6 cm. You know how to find surface area of a cylinder and hemisphere, right?
