(sin x)(tan x cos x - cot x cos x) = 1 - 2 cos^2x I used Formula: sin^2x+ cos^2x= 1 to make 1 - 2 cos^2 x into sin^2x cos^2x (sin x)(tan x cos x - cot x cos x) = sin^2x cos^2x using this formula tan x = sin x/ cos x I plugged it in so now the equation looks like this: (sin x)(sin x cos x - cot x cos x) /cos x = sin^2x cos^2x Am I doing this correctly? I am so lost please help.
