Are you solving for x?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Isolate the variable:
4x = -6 - 7 + 9
Can you take it from here?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
im not sure
OpenStudy (anonymous):
All you need to do now is this:
4x = -4
Can you find x?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no

4x = -4 so x = -1
Got it?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
not really i dnt really understand maths
OpenStudy (anonymous):
It's really easy, to find X first you need to isolate it and move it to one side and move all the integers to the other side of the equation.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
so what is the answer
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I already wrote it for you. x = -1

not trying to get you mad but can you write the entire problem how to solve it
OpenStudy (anonymous):
I did it in a few comments. I'll write it all together
OpenStudy (anonymous):
ok thank you
OpenStudy (anonymous):
\[7 + 4x - 9 = -6\]
We isolate the variable x:
\[4x = -6 - 7 + 9\]
now:
\[4x = -4\]
divide everything by 4:
\[x = -1\]

-12 = -5 - 6n + 11
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Same as before, try it yourself. Isolate the variable n.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
its a different problem
