I need help writing a quadratic function in vertex form: y=-8x^2+3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[y=-8x ^{2}+3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Umm, it's kinda already in vertex form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Vertex form is in \[a(x-h)^{2}+h\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x^2 = (x-0)^2\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think you mean \(h\) and \(k\) rather than \(h\) and \(h\).

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes my bad a typo

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ a = -8 \\ h = 0 \\ k = 3 \]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will try graphing with that

It works my bad for posting this, I must have been looking at it too hard.
