OpenStudy (texaschic101):

How do I solve this math problem....I can't seem to find the pattern https://www.pfrsolutions.com/WDSImages/SB/HrlyQuestion21_F.png

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it might be a misprint. i don't see why it wouldn't be 10.

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I thought it was 10, but that is not a choice. My teacher said it was not a misprint. I can't seem to figure it out.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

There must be a bit more to the problem. What are those numbers supposed to represent?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I don't know, it was just a random extra credit problem. How could it not be 10. I am so lost on this one. Teacher said their was a pattern. The only pattern I saw gave me 10 as the answer.

OpenStudy (homeworksucks):

it might be 80- 10*2 20*2 40*2

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

possibly...I didn't see that pattern...I must have not looked hard enough.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if that's the pattern, why aren't both the 20s next to the 10?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

good question ...I don't know...I might just have to give up on this extra credit and just guess.
