A chef has 10 spice jars, but his new spice rack only holds 8 spice jars. How many ways can he arrange 8 jars on the spice rack? A. 45 B. 80 C. 1,814,400 D. 3,628,800 could anyone explain this to me?

i was saying 80 because i was gonna multiply it but uhm i guess..

it's not 80. think of your closet. say you have 3 coats. that means you have 3 choices for your first coat, then 2 for your second, etc.
