I think the question is asking for the transformations that one graph undergoes to become the other graph
yes, but im exactly sure how im suppose to write out the answer. i guess idk how to put it in words
You could say if y=x^2 were shifted 3 units to the left, 4 units down and vertically stretched by a factor of two, it would equal the other parabola
yeah but what is the difference then?
the difference is that y=x^2 is 3 units to the right of the other parabola. all the transformation are differences
could say the vertex of y=x^2 is (0,0) while the vertex of the other one is (-3,-4)
