If the circumference of a circle is 12, and the angle measure of an arc is 60o, which is the length of the arc?

OpenStudy (zehanz):

What part of the circumference corresponds with an arc of 60 degrees?

I Really Don't Understand This Material . That's All The Question Asked Me :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the whole circle is 360 degrees you have \(\frac{60}{360}=\frac{1}{6}\) or in english "one sixths" of the circle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since the entire circumference is 12 units long, take one sixth of that for your answer, in other words, divide 12 by 6

Thanks :)
