Is my answer to these three questions are correct? the problem says that i need to translate the statements into inequalites. 1. the cost of a pencil is at most $12? x=$12 2. the discount is no less than $25? x-25 3. there must be at least a hundred butterflies in the garden? x=100

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It doesn't say equal for 1 and 3. It could be equal, it could be less.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so number 2 is correct equation except 1 and 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the equations are x+12 and x-100?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Similarly, #2 is really saying $25 or MORE.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmp so whats the best equations to use? x>12, x<25 and x=100?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are choices in each, not only more than or less than
