OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks for your help. :) do you know this one too? This is the foundation for deciding cases: a. writ of certiorari b. congressional ammendments c. briefs d. a per curiam opinion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D. They always try to be confusing with the latin terms

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I agree....D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks. what does per curiam mean? doesn't it just mean a unanimous vote?

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

I take that back....I thought the answer was the law, but that is not one of the choices. brief - a written statement that sets forth legal arguments. per curiam opinion - an unsigned statement of the courts decision. writ of centiorari - an order from the court to send up records. congressional amendments - formal change to the text of the written constitution of a nation or state. I am not sure of the answer...sorry
