So confused... Please help!? Let f(x) = -2x + 4 and g(x) = -6x - 7. Find f(x) - g(x)

Would I subtract the two?
yup.
-2x+4-(-6x-7)=-2x+4+6x+7=4x+11
Okay so would it be like this.... -2x + 4 - (-6 - 7)
sorry I meant -6x
