Lindsey stepped onto the ice. Is this an independant, adjective, adverb, or noun clause?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you understand what the different clauses are?

http://grammar.ccc.commnet.edu/grammar/clauses.htm is another resource that might help, I looked it up.

Thank you! I will read that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's an independant clause. "Adjective, adverb, or noun clause" would never be the option here. This is because the clause in question is an independent sentence itself and there is no other clause in the sentense to which the clause in question provides additional information to. Hope this helps!
