OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Since the ratio of two corresponding sides is 15/9, then the ratio of the sum of the lengths of all sides (the perimeter) is also 15/9 which can be reduced to 5/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that for the perimeter or the area?

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

perimeter

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

The ratio of the areas is relatesd to the squares of the sides, so the ratio of the areas is 5^2/3^2 = 25/9

Thank you soo much!

You're welcome.
