OpenStudy (anonymous):

In △PQR, what is the length of ? Choice are 22r radical 3 11 11radical 2 22 radical 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

QR

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know but I need to find the lenght of QR in PQR

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 22 radical 3 is my answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

22 squared is 11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a2 + b2 = c2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

22 radical 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is the wrong answer because when you 242 .. 11 *2 =22 and 22 can be broken down again by 11*2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 22 radical 2 was correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know how to take the square root of 242

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is isn't a perfect square you get 15.556 so you have to make it a radical

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11 radical 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks for the help. (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was just confushed. It was the fact that 22 goes into 242 11 times and I put 22 instead of a 11 radical 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):
