Expression: 12 ÷ 3 + (7 – 5) + 3^2 • 6 Step 1: 12 ÷ 3 + 2 + 3^2 • 6 ... correct Step 2: 12 ÷ 3 + 2 + 9 • 6 ... correct Step 3: 12 ÷ 3 + 11 • 6 ... NOT correct You follow PEMDAS so you do multiplication first, then addition
