Have you learnt about the trigonometry formulas for a right-angled triangle? I.e, Do you know how to use 'SOH CAH TOA' ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes i know SOHCAHTOA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So which one should you using?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use SOH CAH TOA See which sides you have been given on the triangle, relative to the angle given (not the 90degrees, look at teh sides given relative to the 45degrees angle)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and look at which side you're trying to find.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Cos because Adjacent/hypotnuse

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good. Then ...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Did you get the answer? Let me know if you're stuck.
