Jim likes to go fishing on Lake Chippewa every Saturday. He usually catches between 8 and 12 fish. If only half of those fish are big enough to keep, then about how many fish does Jim take home in 9 weeks? 37 fish 90 fish 57 fish 45 fish

I would take the avg of 8 and 12. This says that he catches on avg 10 fish a week. For 9 weeks that is 90 fish. But he only keeps half. So 45

\[avg={\sum x_n \over n}\]
