In the future focus mostly on the units if you don't know how to to the problem. Cancelling units correctly should leave you with the desired units. You could even work backwards.

You want your answer in hours. To we need to get rid of the miles. we have 50 miles / hr and 342 miles. We want hrs on top so we can start with hr / 50 miles and to get rid of miles we multiply it by 342 miles and you are left with hours
