Your fraction would be length of car/length of model, making sure to use the same units of measure. The model is 6 inches long, or 0.5 foot so the ratio (fraction) is 9/.05. Since you want a whole number, multiply each by 2 to get 18/1 or 18:1.

A 1:725 Just change the 24 inches to 2 feet and then the ratio is 2/1450 which simplifies to 1:725
