Find the travel time for each problem: Departure: 9:25 A.M. EST Arrival: 5:06 P.M. EST Travel Time: ?

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

Convert them both to 24 hour format, and then subtract arrival time by departure time.

so how would i do that? i would subtract 9:25 from 5:06?

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

Convert them to 24hours: 9:25AM is 9:25, and 5:06 PM would be 17:06. Then subtract 9:25 from 17:06. (Sorry if my statement earlier was confusing you)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats ok. :) Now I'm just wondering how you got 17:06 from 5:06.
