Find the value of x for this equation: `1/(x - 6) + 2 = 4/(x - 6)`

OpenStudy (tyteen4a03):

Firstly move everything related to x to one side, so subtract 1/(x - 6) from both sides to get \(\frac{4 - 1} {x - 6} = 2\). Now you should be able to solve this equation.
