OpenStudy (erinweeks):

A. 2.4 in. B. 7.2 in. C. 14.4 D. 4.8 in.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

V = (pi)(r^2)(h) h = V/[(pi)(r^2)] h = (271.4)/[(pi)(6^2)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you do the arithmetic from this point or do you still need help?

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

i got 30694.61 but that doesnt sound right to me..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll help you a bit further: h = (271.4)/[(pi)(6^2)] = (271.4)/[(3.14)(36)] = 2.4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

All good now?

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

i dont get how you got the 2.4 though :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In words, it's 271.4 divided by the product of 36 and 3.14 You multiply 36 by 3.14 and get a number. You divide 271.4 by that number. That's all there is to it.

OpenStudy (erinweeks):

oh see thats whats i did wrong i didnt divide i was multiplying!! thank you could you help me with on more question??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to go right now but I'll be back in about a half hour to an hour. Good luck in all of your studies and thx for the recognition! Nice working with you. @ErinWeeks
