how would you do a differed payment math question?

$42.96 x 18 = $773.28 (every month she made a payment), $2.65 x 18 = $46.08 (every payment she made with her credit card), $31.50 x 7 (the amount of times she paid late fees), all this totals to $1039.86. I think this is the answer.
Oh wait I think I got it! $46.08 + $2.65 = $48.73, you take that and $48.73 x 18 = $820.98, next $31.50 x 7 = $220.50. Add all that together and you some how get $1041.48! So I think the answer is B. ^_^
