Can someone help me with this system of linear equation, it's somewhat stated confusingly. I'll also upload a photo.

I want to know if I do the whole process of eliminating x from the 2nd eq., then the 3rd eq? Or do I just eliminate x from the 3rd eq. by doing whatever(+or-) the 3rd eq. from the 2nd eq.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is very easy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have: 2x-y+3z=2 x+2y-z=4 -4x+5y+z=10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first of all multiple 2 in equation One and then plus it by equation third you can see that x value eliminate. and so on. ok?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, thats what I was confused by, just didn't think it was that simple for some reason. Thanks!
