Write an equation for a direct variation with a graph that passes though each point. (-1.5, 9) What's the equation I would use for this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation for all direct variation is y = kx, where k is what we call the constant of variation. To find k, plug in the x and y points to that equation then solve for k... then rewrite the equation with the value that you find.

in Y-y1=m(X-x1) ser x1 and y1 from your point and by adjust every m you have a line that though of your point
