4x^2/-3x^4/3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 4x^{2} }{ -3x^{4/3} }\] ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know how to solve it, thats why im asking

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wanted to make sure I wrote it the correct way. You wrote it without using the equation editor.

Oh okay, sorry, and yes thats correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh it's ok :) Basically what you want to do is this: \[(\frac{ -4 }{ 3 })x^{2 - \frac{ 4 }{ 3 }}\] Because 2 is larger than 4/3, we can subtract 2 - 4/3 and get a new exponent for the numerator.

is is x^8/6?
