PLEASE HELP!! Calculate the volume of the largest possible sphere that can fit in a cube with a volumeof 4913 cubic cm. Give the volume to the nearest tenth of a cubic cm. show all working please

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

What is the equation for the volume of a cube, given the length of one side? Solve that to give you the length of one side in terms of the volume. That will tell you the diameter of the sphere which fits inside making contact at the center of each cube face. Use that diameter (or half of it, which is the radius) to find the volume of that sphere.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

What did you get for an answer? When you compare it to the volume of the original cube, are you surprised about how much space is apparently still empty?
