The parents organization bought 1,000 bumper stickers at $1.25 each to sell at football games. They want to make at least $750 profit. What should be the selling price of the stickers? a) p is greater than or equal to $1.25 b)p is greater than or equal to $1.75 c)p is greater than or equal to $1.50 d)p is greater than or equal to $2.00
I say it is a. But you may want to get somebody elses opinion. Im not really that much help. Sorry. :/
What did they pay for the bumper stickers?
(A) makes sense because 1000*1.25=$1250 so you would still be making profit from selling it at 1.25.
thanks :)
If you pay 1.25 for something and sell it for 1.25, how can you make a profit?
oh sorry, its $2.00 because, cost is 1250 so you go (2000-1250=750)
They spent $1250 for the stickers. They want to make $750 which means they need to take in $2000. So if they have 1000 stickers and need to get at least $2000 for them, they should price them at $2 each or more.
ok
