While riding the merry-go-round at the playground, Monique, who has a mass of 45 kg, is traveling at a speed of 9.0 m/s. Her angular momentum is 810 kg m2/s. How far is she sitting from the center of the merry-go-round?

OpenStudy (nottim):

uh...is this a multi-step problem?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Aren't we just looking at the radius * mass * tangential speed = angular momentum? That gives a nice round number for the answer, and the units work...
