A mole of bowling balls woud have the mass how many times greater than the moon? Please show calculations

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

How many "molecules" in a mole? Average mass of a bowling ball? Estimated mass of the moon? That's all you need.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[6.02 \times 10^{23} times the average mass of bowling ball at 7.25 g, mass of moon I will look p. So I just compare the two numbers?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

That's about it. Keep track of your magnitudes!

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

7.25 g for a bowling ball? A US 1 cent coin minted after 1982 weighs about 2.5 g :-) Bowling ball must be 16 lbs or less by regulation.

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

I was wondering about that. Just make sure you mention the weight you are using. Of course, you'll need mass, and not weight.
