HELP!!!!! How would you describe the overall importance of Radar in WWII?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It completely altered the way war was fought. Radar helped track enemy planes and ships so that they could not sneak up and attack. Strategically, it made surprise attacks much more difficult.
