In looking at problem 6 the room object is made an attribute of robot, but maybe it would be easier to make a correspondence between these two, like with a tuple with room-robot pairs. Intuitively, a room is not a property of a robot.

do it the other way around.... the room has a collection of robots.  the room has a blackboard where each robot marks its current position.  before a robot moves it looks at the blackboard to see if it is going to collide with another bot.
