im glad you're back, id like to explain

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha hi, i'm all ears

OpenStudy (anonymous):

your first 3 terms have x in common

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just factor, or do you have to solve for x too?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, find zeros

OpenStudy (anonymous):

set equation equal to zero, add the 6 to the right side for now just so we can factor, then we'll bring it back

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^3 + 2x^2 - 5x = 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pull x out x(x^2 + 2x -5)=6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it, thanks tho
