OpenStudy (kuoministers):

let \[\sqrt{15 - 6\sqrt{6}} = x - \sqrt{y}\] . Square both sides and form a pair of simultaneous equation to find x and y given they are rational. hence find \[\sqrt{15 - 6\sqrt{6}}\]

OpenStudy (kuoministers):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I don't understand the question.

OpenStudy (kuoministers):

OpenStudy (kuoministers):

all we need to find is x and y i think

OpenStudy (aravindg):

they say in question square both sides .Did you do that?

OpenStudy (kuoministers):

yea i didn that.. it made \[15 -6\sqrt{6} = x ^{2} - y\]
