the coordinates of the vertices of triangle abc are A (4,1) B (-3,2) C (0,k).given that the area of ABC is 12.sq units, find the value of k

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess the one thing you are going to need is an equation that will give you an unknown. Since you have the area and know some lengths I suggest you use \[\frac{1}{2}*b*h= area\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

where b= base length and h = length of height

mmk

Does that give you more of the direction you have to take to answer this question or do you need some more help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cn u solve it for me :P
