Got another one An Italian sausage is 8 inches long. How many pieces of sausage can be cut from the 8-inch piece of sausage if each piece is to be two-thirds of an inch ? Please explain step by step I'll understand a lot more please!!!!!!

Yes! So each piece must be this size exactly. If we have an 8 inch sausage how many do we need? We know it will be cut up, so division should be used here.

should be x number of 2/3 will become 8 inches :) 2/3x = 8
