for range find the smallest and the largest of the data and then subtract them for finding the mean add or sum up all the data of each high schools and then divide by the number of the data in each school

when u subtract the lowest and the highest data u get the interval u can write range as 3-21 inclusive and 5-20 inclusive no need to subtract

it may ask u to compare mean but there can be other measures too..
