Find all solutions in the interval [0, 2π) (sin x)(cos x) = 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What class is this?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it calculus?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is pre-calc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah ok.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When either term is 0 the whole thing is 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it's just the roots of sin AND the roots of cos

Parth (parthkohli):

This is another case of the zero-product rule.\[x y=0\]if and only if \( x = 0\) or \(y = 0\). So we can have \(\sin(x) = 0\) or \(\cos(x) = 0\).
