What is the energy transformation in a transmitter?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does it convert sound energy to electrical energy or ???

Q.2) Why does a driver increase the speed of his car on approaching a hilly road?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

q.3) The engine of a train has to apply a force of 5000 N to overcome friction to run at a uniform rate of 90 km per hour. What is the power developed by the engine?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

P=Fv F=5000 N v=25 m/s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Power=Force times velocity so if the force of the engine is 100000 N and this power moves the plane at 900 m/s then the power is 90,000,000 Watts.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there is more of a strain on the engine going up a hill and the increased speed helps the momentum.

Thanks for your help friends. These questions are based on "Work and Energy" chapter. For Q,2) I need a more specific answer pls....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Also what about the energy transformation in a transmitter???
